Emma E. Clark (1883-1930)
This illustrator is one of typical myteries from the past. There is almost no data about her available. I have found her the years of her birth and death, but no place associated withe either. I have no idea if she was English, Irish, American or something else. I don't even know what the E. standing for her middle name means.
But I have found one beautiful illustration from famous collection of nursery rhymes called Mother Goose:
Well, the title of the book is actually Metropolitan Mother Goose and it is still available through on-line sellers for few bucks. Metropolitan was, if i understand correctly the sponsor of the book and this is about all Ican say for this short, but sweet post.
If this is seen by anybody who can add some additional info about Emma Clark, please leave us a comment. We'll be very thankful:)
